NextGen Technology Camp

NextGen Tech Camp is an immersive, hands-on summer experience designed for students entering their sophomore or junior year who want to explore cutting-edge technology in a dynamic and engaging environment. Hosted by Tiffin University, this camp provides a glimpse into the innovative technology programs and opportunities available at TU, preparing students for exciting careers in cybersecurity, computer science, robotics, artificial intelligence, and more.

Campers will engage in a variety of hands-on activities, including drone flight and aerial technology, where they will learn real-world applications of unmanned aerial systems. They will also explore cybersecurity and ethical hacking, diving into digital defense strategies and learning how to protect against cyber threats. Artificial intelligence and robotics will be a major focus, allowing students to interact with Spot, the Boston Dynamics robot dog, while also gaining practical hardware skills through soldering and electronics practice kits.

To add to the excitement, campers will compete in Esports gaming and participate in tech challenges and team competitions, where they will collaborate and apply their newly learned skills in fun and engaging ways. These experiences will balance structured learning and interactive problem-solving, ensuring students stay engaged throughout the program.

All activities, including drone flight, robotics, and soldering, will be conducted under the supervision of experienced instructors in a safe, controlled environment. Campers will receive proper guidance, use protective equipment where necessary, and follow strict safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure learning experience.

In addition to hands-on learning, campers will gain insight into the technology programs at Tiffin University, helping them explore future academic and career opportunities in cybersecurity, computer science, AI, robotics, and drone technology.
